Meet Elle - a health & fitness professional with over 10 years experience as a Personal Trainer, Sport Development Officer and Health & Fitness Blogger.
Elle graduated from the University of Brighton in 2006 with a 2:1 BSc (Hons) degree in Exercise Science. Whilst working in a London University as a Sport development Officer, Elle gained her fitness qualifications leading to a Level 3 Certificate in Personal Training. Since qualifying, Elle has always taught weekly classes including Nike Training Club for Nike, London Southbank University and GymBox.
Elle started her popular health & fitness blog, keep it simpElle, in 2012. Through her writing and professional knowledge, Elle has been lucky enough to have collaborated with brands such as Speedo UK, Women's Health Magazine UK, Human Race, BRITA and Brooks Running UK.
Elle's interest in food, nutrition and healthy eating began whilst studying nutrition as part of her Personal Trainer award. She became interested in philosophies around eating such as the alkaline diet, paleo and Whole30.

As with many great ideas, Borrow My Blender was born from one conversation over a desk between colleagues. Whilst working for a company who specialise in renting Altitude Equipment, Lex & Elle realised that there was maybe an opportunity to use a similar business model in their area of passion; healthy food and coveted kitchen appliances.
Elle then stumbled across the Enterprise Programme implemented by The Princes Trust to support young Entrepreneurs in setting up their business idea. Elle began the programme in October 2015 and set about to bring the idea to life.
The Princes Trust continues to support Elle by providing a Business Mentor and opportunities to network with other Princes Trust Entrepreneurs and external agencies. Elle recently attended a workshop with Accenture Digital at the London Head Quarters to learn about Digital Marketing and how it could be applied to Borrow My Blender.
